Chapelton, Jamaica
The project is a water supply/pressure issue that the community is experiencing due to inconsistent water supply operations and to being at the end of the water supply chain. Several fresh water springs exist in the community and we will design and install a method for the community to utilize these springs without having to rely on an inconsistent system. The assessment travel group will consist of a technical lead, project lead, health point personnel, and education lead. Assessment will include meeting with our chaperone and FSF contacts; collecting photographic and geographic data in Chapelton, along travel routes, and around the spring; and locating material, labor, and equipment contacts.
